Each stage of the programme has its own examinations, which are administered by ICSI and must be passed before a student proceeds to the next stage.
Foundation Program is the first level in the CS course and a student who has done his 10 + 2 or equivalent can enter this level. The Foundation level exam relates to key topics associated with the business environment and the legal environment: management, economics, and accounting. The Professional Program course is open to candidates who have completed the Executive Examination successfully. The professional examination has three examinations at the professional level, where corporate law and governance, strategic management, financial analysis and regulation, and compliance are examined at the advanced level. Its core objective is to produce highly skilled secretaries who are strategically equipped to offer advice, in addition to ensuring the legal validity of a company’s transactions and good management.
ICSI organizes the CS tests twice a year, in June, July, and December, so that the students have enough time in hand to prepare well.
