Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Counselling 2024: The choice locking system for OJEE Counselling will be activated by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) on June 28, 2024. Candidates are able to verify their OJEE mock seat allocation outcomes for LE B.Tech courses and select the appropriate choices. The OJEE 2024 mock seat allotment results were released by the authority on June 25 . The registration and choice filling for OJEE 2024 web based counselling process was started on June 19, 2024. The counseling process consists of enrollment, preference selection, choice confirmation, seat allocation, and reporting to the main center. OJEE Counselling 2024

The OJEE counseling window was launched by OJEEC online on June 19, 2024. Those candidates who pass the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination are able to register and finalize the choice-filling process. The officials will conduct separate counseling sessions for OJEE 2024 for JEE Main qualifiers and a special OJEE 2024 for those who did not qualify. Both counselling will be conducted in online mode. It is important to highlight that the OJEE counselling for 2024 will consist of two regular rounds and an additional special round conducted by the authorities.

OJEE 2024 Counselling Process

• Step 1: OJEE Counselling Registration- To participate in the OJEE counselling process for the year 2024, prospective candidates must complete their registration online and submit the required counselling fee. During the registration process, candidates will be asked to provide specific details for OJEE counselling.

After entering the above details, candidates have to pay the OJEE 2024 counselling fee online mode through Debit/credit card or internet banking.

• Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking- In the next step, candidates have to fill in their choices of colleges and courses as per their preferences. Candidates are advised to fill in the maximum number of choices to increase their chances of admission. Candidates have to lock their choices within the specified limit.
• Step 3: Temporary seat allotment- The authorities will release the temporary seat allotment based on choices locked by the candidates and the OJEE merit list. Candidates will be able to check their OJEE seat allotment through the official website. Candidates will also receive their seat allotment status on their registered email and mobile number.
• Step 4: Reporting at Centres for Admission Fee Payment- Candidates who have been assigned seats in the temporary seat allotment are requested to visit the designated nodal reporting centers in order to verify their documents and make the necessary payment for admission fees. Additionally, candidates are required to pay a seat confirmation fee of Rs 25,000 at any branch of Axis Bank/ State Bank through e-Challan or online mode using a credit/debit card
• Step 5: Final Seat Allotment- The final seat allotment for OJEE 2024 will be released by the authorities once document verification is completed and the fee is submitted at the designated reporting centers. The official website will host the final seat allotment information, and candidates must download their seat allotment letters accordingly.
• Step 6: Reporting at allotted Institute- Students who have been assigned a seat in the final seat matrix have to present themselves at the institute mentioned in the seat allotment letter. Each candidate is required to present him or herself to the institute as assigned for the confirmation of the allotted seats at the set time. Candidates will also have to carry all their documents of education along with other documents to the allotted institute.

• Green Card issued by the Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha.
• Ex-Serviceman candidates apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.
• Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category.
• Certificate in support of NRI.
• Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates.
• Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parents from Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.

According to data of the previous year, there are 8 Government/Government Aided and 82 Self-financed institutes affiliated to OJEE. The candidates are advised to verify the list of all the institutes included in OJEE 2024 so that they can make their option according to their preferences.
