Gujarat AYUSH counseling is conducted by ACPUGMEC for admission to Ayurvedic, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy undergraduate colleges in Gujarat. To be eligible for AYUSH counseling, candidates must have appeared for NEET-UG conducted by NTA. Register at ACPUGMEC's official website, medadmgujarat.org.

Gujarat AYUSH counselling is conducted by Gujarat’s Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Course or ACPUGMEC for  Ayurvedic, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy medical colleges for the undergraduate programmes. Candidates must have participated in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to be considered for AYUSH counseling eligibility.

The candidates who appear on the merit list will be sent a message asking them to attend a counseling session. The fee payable for the registration PIN is Rs 1000 and for security deposit of Rs 10000 is mandatory and non-refundable. The self-financed colleges have brought 15% All India Quota seats for the BHMS and BAMS Courses. Candidates can register at the official website of ACPUGMEC, medadmgujarat.org.

Gujarat AACCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Gujarat AACCC AYUSH counselling candidates must be eligible to certain criteria which are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as their main subjects from a recognised board of education.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category must score at least 50% marks.
  • The minimum percentage required by the unreserved category is 40% and 45% by the person belonging to the physically handicapped category.
  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as of December 31 the year of examination.
  • The candidates must have a Gujarat domicile certificate.
  • NRI candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG exam can also apply.

Gujarat State AYUSH Counselling: Documents required

The list of the documents required for Gujarat AACCC AYUSH counselling are mentioned below:

  • Marksheets of Class 10 and Class 12.
  • NEET UG 2024 mark sheet of the candidate.
  • For the proof of birthplace, candidates can produce an Indian passport, school leaving certificate, birth certificate or school transfer certificate.
  • For the proof of date of birth, candidates must produce a Class 10 mark sheet, birth certificate, transfer certificate, school leaving certificate, or an Indian passport.
  • Candidates must show Gujarat domicile certificate.
  • Candidates who were born outside Gujarat must have a Gujarat domicile certificate from the authority authorised by the Gujarat government.
  • For candidates belonging to any of these categories, SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD should have a caste certificate, income certificate or disability certificate issued by the concerned authority licensed by the government of Gujarat.
  • For the local candidates' certificates of Ahmedabad and Surat, the certificate must be issued from the Dean of the respective Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research after the publication of the NEET UG 2024 result.
  • The candidates belonging to the category of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) must produce an OCI card issued by the government of India.
  • Candidates must have a physical fitness certificate in the prescribed format signed by the registered doctor (MBBS/MS/MD).
  • Domicile certificates for the children of defence personnel should be issued by the authority authorised by the Indian government.
  • For children of IAS/IRS/IPS personnel, candidates are required to show the details of their original posting in Gujarat and also their current posting.
  • If any candidate has passed class 12 from Jawahar Navoday Vidhyalaya out of Gujarat has to present a mark sheet from Class 1 to Class 8 issued from the school located in Gujarat.
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli under the Gujarat board have to produce a mark sheet issued by the Gujarat board and the domicile certificate issued by the concerned authority authorised by the Gujarat government.

Gujarat AYUSH counselling involves various steps which are as follows:

Gujarat AYUSH Admission Process: Registration

  1. The eligible candidates have to first register for online counselling through the official website, medadmgujarat. org.
  2. In online registration, a candidate is required to purchase a PIN from the website.
  3. Once the purchasing of the PIN is done the candidates must register online where they are needed to fill some details.
  4. After registration, candidates will be given the registration number and password with which they can use to login.

Gujarat AYUSH counselling fees

Provided below is the complete amount required to purchase the PIN for registration:

For NRI Candidates

After the completion of the online application form, the NRI candidates are required to submit a processing fee of Rs 10. 000 by demand draft to ACPUGMEC, Gandhinagar.

Gujarat AYUSH Admission: Merit list

After verifying the documents, a list of eligible candidates is prepared. It is based on reservation criteria and NEET scores of the candidates. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared for Gujarat AYUSH admission counseling. Candidates will be called for counseling based on the list of merit list.

Gujarat AYUSH Counselling: Choice filling and locking

The candidates featured in the merit list will also be able to select the colleges and courses of their desire. Under the Gujarat AYUSH admission procedure, there is no limit to the number of selections.It is possible for applicants to modify their selection within the lock-in period. It is highly recommended for candidates to confirm their choices by the closing date of the locking process. If the candidates fail to lock their preferences, the choices will be automatically locked after the last date.

AYUSH Counselling 2024 Gujarat: Seat allotment

The seat is given out depending on how many seats are available, the choices that the candidates make, the seat matrix, the ranking of the candidates in their state, and their NEET scores. The list of seats assigned will be released by the officials after each round of Gujarat AYUSH counseling is finished.

Gujarat AYUSH Admission Counselling: Reporting to allotted college

The candidates who made it to the final list need to go to the assigned college on the given date and time. They should bring all the necessary documents in both original and photocopy forms. It's important for the candidates to finish all the admission procedures on time to make sure their application doesn't get canceled.
