DTE MP Counselling 2024: Important Dates, Registration Process, Seat Allotment, Documents Required

DTE, Madhya Pradesh has scheduled the release of the MP B.Tech merit list 2024 for July 30, 2024. The link for choice filling will be closed by the authority on July 29, 2024, at dte.mponline.gov.in.  The application editing process for B.Tech counselling was conducted by the authority from July 26 to July 27, 2024. Eligible candidates were allowed to update their registration details for MP B.Tech counselling 2024 by logging in. Candidates were eligible to participate in the MP DTE 2024 counselling and seat allocation process, which is based on their JEE Main score and class 12 merit.

Candidates should be aware that seat allocation is determined by the preferences indicated during DTE MP 2024 counselling registration, merit ranking, and seat availability.Students who qualify through MP DTE counselling in 2024 must proceed to the assigned institution for document verification. The institute will also organize a distinct institution level DTE MP 2024 counselling process.

The detailed process of MP BE 2024 counselling and seat allocation is provided below for the candidates information.

• Step 1- Registration: Eligible candidates must finalize the registration process on the official website and candidates are required to upload all necessary documents for verification. After the registration process is done, candidates must collect a confirmation slip for future reference. If document verification is still pending, candidates should make a visit to help centers  for verification purposes.
• Step 2- Choice filling and fee payment: Candidates should list their preferred colleges in the order of their preference. It is important for candidates to submit their choices after making their selections. Candidates will need to pay the necessary non-refundable MP BE 2024 counselling fee. This fee can be paid online via Paytm, credit/debit card, or net banking or offline at help centers.

• Class 10 and 12 marksheet.
• MP domicile certificate (If applicable).
• Reserve category certificate (If applicable).
• Family income certificate (for TFW & OBC category candidates).
• Aadhaar Card.

MP DTE 2024 Counselling  Fees

• Step 3 - Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allocated seats in the MP BE 2024 participating institutes based on the common merit list, seat availability, and choice filling. The seat allotment letter can be downloaded by candidates from the official website .
• Step 4- Report Institute : Those candidates who receive offers of admission will need to report to the designated institute for document verification. Additionally, they will be required to pay the admission fee at the institute to confirm their enrollment in the MP BE 2024 program.

MP DTE 2024 Seat Allotment

The candidate will have a choice of the following options to choose from. If they are unsatisfied with the allotment, they can select any one of the options listed below.

• Option 1- Upgrade seat: If applicants are dissatisfied with the assigned seat, they have the opportunity to upgrade it, this choice is available to applicants who will be applying based on their JEE Main 2024 scores. Those who will be applying based on a qualifying exam will not have the ability to utilize this option.
• Option 2- Internal sliding: Upon receiving a seat allocation, candidates are eligible to request a transfer to another branch within the same institute, subject to the availability of vacant or dropout seats. Candidates will need to pay a portal fee of Rs.100 to avail of this option.
• If there are any remaining vacancies, a special round of DTE MP counselling and seat allocation for the year 2024 will be organized to admit students into government, private, self-financed, and government-funded colleges. The selection process will be determined by the JEE Main 2024 results and class XII performance.
