OJEE PG 2024 Counselling Started: Dates, Process, Eligibility, Merit List, Result

The OJEE Board has initiated the counselling process for M.Tech admission on July 8, 2024. Qualified candidates can complete their OJEE PG counselling registration and selection process on the official website ojee.nic.in. The last date for completing the OJEE PG 2024 registration process is July 18, 2024. The candidates who have passed the OJEE exam are eligible to take part in the counselling procedure. . On July 20, 2024, the authority will release the mock seat allotment results for OJEE PG.

The OJEE M.Tech exam was conducted by the authority on May 10, 2024. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech courses in Odisha will need to participate in the OJEE PG counselling for selection. The OJEE M.Tech results were announced by the authority on June 3, 2024. Candidates were required to visit the official website to check the OJEE PG results.

OJEE PG Counselling 2024

The OJEE PG 2024 counselling and seat allotment process will be tentatively conducted by the authorities. The OJEE PG 2024 counselling process involves some steps like registration, providing personal information, selecting preferences, etc. The qualified candidates will receive seat allotments from the authorities after each counselling session. To take part in  Odisha JEE PG counselling in 2024, candidates must follow the steps listed below.

OJEE PG 2024 Counselling Process

• Step 1 - Registration - Candidates should visit the official website and click on the new registration link. Candidates are required to choose the course and provide their application number (for GATE candidates) or roll number (for other candidates), and date of birth.
• Step 2 - Filling of details - Next step, candidates will need to provide the necessary details in the application form, such as a contact number, email address, and bank details. Candidates will need to generate a password that will be used for logging in.
• Step 3 - Payment - Candidates are required to pay a counselling registration fee of Rs. 450. After completing payment, candidates can proceed to select their preferred institutes. Candidates must choose maximum number of choices to increase chances of selection. Printout the completed selection form.
• Step 4 - Allotment and admission fee - After submitted their choices, the authorities will allot seats to qualified candidates. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats will have to lock their seats and proceed to pay admission fee. Dissatisfied candidates are eligible to take part in the next round. Candidates will be required to pay admission fee of Rs. 10000 for general category and those belongs to SC/ST/PC categories will need to pay Rs. 5000.  Payment can be done in both online and offline modes. The payment can be paid through Credit/Debit cards or net banking and to make an offline payment, simply visit any SBI branch and present the printed challan.
• Step 5 - Document verification - Students who receives allotted seats must take part in the document verification process to confirm their admission. It is important for candidates to double check that they have all the required documents with them.

OJEE PG Eligibility Criteria 2024

The authorities have released the eligibility criteria for OJEE 2024. Candidates are required to check the OJEE PG 2024 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. If a candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria that will result disqualification of the application.

The  eligibility criteria for OJEE 2024 is provided below.

1. There is no age limit for OJEE PG.
2. Candidates must have completed the qualifying exam for B.Tech or M.Sc from a recognized university or institute approved by AICTE or UGC.
3. Students should have passed a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for  SC/ST category candidates).

OJEE PG Merit List 2024

The OJEE PG merit list will be prepared and published on the official website by the authorities, along with OJEE results. The OJEE PG 2024 merit list will be based on cutoff.

OJEE PG Result 2024

The OJEE PG 2024 result will be announced by the authority on the official website. To download rank cards, candidates need to enter their OJEE PG roll number, date of birth, and verification code. To verify subject wise marks, candidates are required to send a written request along with a demand draft of Rs. 400 favoring OJEE 2024 drawn on any Nationalised Bank in Bhubaneswar. This request should be received by the OJEE office within 10 days of the announcement of results. Candidates also have the option to seek re-totalling of their marks by submitting a fee of Rs. 500. This fee must be paid through demand draft mode to OJEE and drawn from any nationalized bank in Bhubaneswar. The demand draft will reach the OJEE office within 7  days.
