The B.Tech admission process at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) , Jais, Amethi, has started. Candidates are invited to apply for RGIPT BTech Admission through the official website, rgipt.ac.in. The admission process is conducted by the authority in multiple rounds. The deadline for submitting the application form for round 1 of RGIPT B.Tech 2024 is July 7th. RGIPT offers B.Tech admission based on the result of JEE Main or JEE Advanced.
Candidates who are interested in pursuing B.Tech courses can apply to the college through the online mode. The authority does not conduct any other examination for admissions. The selection process will be based on the performance of JEE Advanced or Mains.

RGIPT B.Tech 2024 Application Form
The authorities have released the RGIPT B.Tech application form online on the official website.
The steps to fill application form online.
Step 1 - Registration - Visit the official web portal and click on the link to register for RGIPT B.Tech 2024 admissions. Provide necessary details. A registration number and password will be generated.
Step 2 - Payment of Application Fee - Applicants will have to login and have to pay the RGIPT B.Tech application fee. The same can be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ internet banking/ UPI.

Step 3 - Fill Personal Details- Candidates can proceed with submission of other details in RGIPT B.Tech 2024 application form. They will have to provide personal details, contact information, academic qualification, JEE Main or JEE Advanced details, etc. After submitting all the information, candidates have to save and continue with the next step.
Step 4 - Uploading Documents - Candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of their signature and a passport sized photograph with the given dimensions.

Step 5 - Final Submission - As a last step, applicants must review their application. If there is no need for changes, candidates may click on the Save button and finally submit. Download the confirmation page for future reference.
RGIPT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

| Qualifying Examination | Candidate must have qualified IIT JEE Advanced with a valid rank |
| Minimum Qualification | Candidates should have passed class 12 |
| Minimum Marks | Candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in class 12 examination. SC/ST candidates are provided a relaxation to a minimum of 55% marks in class 12. |
*Candidates with color vision deficiency are not qualified for admission in B.Tech (Petroleum engineering). However, they are welcome to apply for other programs.

Once the application process is over, the authorities will release the merit list for RGIPT B.Tech admissions 2024. It is purely based on the candidate's performance in JEE Main/Advanced 2024 examination. After, the merit list candidates have to pay the registration fee as mentioned in the table below:
